  Beds: Actually they are quite comfortable. Remember to order alternative pillows. We had a suite, the sofa was OK to sleep on, even for adults (many hotels have pull-out sofas with very thin mattresses, usually not suitable for adults). Suite comes with a Nespresso machine, occassionally the capsules were replenished.

  Пляж, по виду, ничем особым не отличается от других пляжей. Есть у него одно большое преимущество. Плях расположен между двух холмов. Холмы защищают пляж от ветра. Это большой плюс этому месту. Вы можете тут быть и спокойно загорать в то время, когда на других пляжах Масполомаса ветер будет качать пальмы как маятики. Пляж оборудован всем необходимым, включая бесплатный туалет. Недостатком есть завышенные цены в ресторанах на набережной. Наверное это плата за удачное расположение.

  For dinner or consumption during the day you have to present your paper room card. We had half board, so we could enjoy some really decent Spanish meals during lunch out of the hotel. We tried three restaurants at the hotel beach, see separate reviews.

  There are a lot of activities possible on this island. We do recommend stargazing with Astro GC (great for kids 6+).

  There is a doctor that comes to the hotel. You have to always make an appointment at the reception first. The fee is 80 euro per consultation, in cash. If you get a prescription, take your passport to the pharmacy.

  Food: Everything is served buffet style. As a result, the quality is mostly average. Or as my son would say, “the food is not as good as at home”. Selection of dishes changes every day. Insufficient outdoor seating (not for lack of space). Indoor is loud, canteen style. At breakfast you can get a Nespresso coffee, although the machines keep breaking down. The wine list is rather poor (max prices 20-25 euro). We tried the Legaris af 25 euro, not good. Same with white wine, ended up drinking water most nights.

  Being avid swimmers, my son and I usually spend hours in the ocean. Considering that the Atlantic is quite fresh end of October we wanted to do the same in the main pool. However, the main pool was freezing cold (1,45 m depth). Swimming a lot I’m used to different temperatures, but even I had to get out of the water after five minutes. After complaining a couple times at the reception (hearing different excuses, such as “customers want different temperatures”), we were “allowed” to use the adult pool (supposedly minimum age 18) which is very nicely heated (5 degrees warmer than main pool), as long as our son does not make noise (no inflatables, no ball playing). In fact, there is a sign saying that kids above the age of six are allowed. See photo. When a lady from the hotel came complaining about my son swimming quietly in the water, I pointed her to the sign, which she had never seen before. In the course of our stay, more and more families with their kids came to the adult pool.

  Sun chairs are of good quality and adjustable, but no cushions. Most sun chairs will be taken by 10 o’clock. Pool towels are small compared to what we are used to get at good hotels.

  Das Schöne an diesem Strand ist, dass er fast Windstill durch die Hügel/Berge nebenan. Das Wasser in der Bucht ist auch deutlich wärmer als an den Dünen von Maspalomas. Außerdem war es auch deutlich leerer als an anderen Stränden in der Nähe.
