  The beach is great with some areas cordoned off to protect plants and greenery. However, you don't get left alone! beach hawkers are pressuring you all the time. It's likely to be windy too.

  Great shops, everyone is so so friendly and attentive. Great products on offer and nice restaurants on show. Lively beach and nice soft sand for your toes! Would advise to walk over the dunes as it's a much shorter, nicer, more pleasant walk than on the roads. Drivers are a bit hairy over here! Just watch out for the 'nudista' section, and if it's not your thing then walk closer to the tide when you get to that point. All in all though, nice place to visit and well worth it for the shopping experience!

  Really not my cup of tea. I found it a bit to Blackpool, but hotter. Large numbers of street vendors offering anything from sunglasses to timeshare. Although, they did come in useful on one occasion as I broke my shades and needed to get hold of a pair quickly. If you really haggle, I guess you could pick up a bargain. Anyway, we preferred the quiet end of the island

  Great place to vacation all year round. Very good beach and many good bars/restaurants to choose from. Locals are friendly enough. Car hire is very cheap if you want to explore the island (just remember to drive on the right) ☺️

  Annexo 2 commercial centre lines the beach but it's even worse with street sellers and the restaurants join in too. Walk through and you'll constantly get pestered to sit in a restaurant! I couldn't wait to get out, it's ridiculously over kill.

  Great bars and beach but get harassed by the Lucky lucky men to much, it's ok if your confident in telling people no as you will get approached to buy things every 5 mins
